Jensen’s worked her way up from a sales assistant to a role that was created entirely for her. She not only grows her existing business, but has brought new clients to Hallmark, such as Soma Intimates. And she has big goals, with running a network her dream job. “Though the responsibilities would be great, the idea of being able to guide a company and help teams work together to achieve a common goal is incredibly exciting to me,” she says.
What makes you most excited about this industry as you advance in your career?
As I advance in my career, I am most excited about how quickly this industry changes. Every day brings a new idea, challenge and solution. One of my favorite parts of sales is pursuing new business targets. With strategies, measurements, platforms and opportunities constantly changing, I am challenged to think about my accounts and responsibilities differently from one day to the next and figure out how to find success.
What would be your ultimate dream job?
My dream job would be to run a network. Though the responsibilities would be great, the idea of being able to guide a company and help teams work together to achieve a common goal is incredibly exciting to me. I want to continue to contribute to our industry as it moves forward in a very positive way.
Who has been your biggest mentor and why?
One of my biggest industry mentors has been Bill Abbott, President and CEO of Crown Media Family Networks. From the very beginning, he has had confidence in my ability to be successful in this industry and has been instrumental in helping me reach my goals. I see the outstanding things he has done for Crown Media Family Networks, and it inspires me to follow a similar path in my own career.
What three things can’t you live without?
Family, coffee and traveling!
