Her team has replaced several manual processes in the company with automated software tools and is actively working to increase revenue opportunities from Scripps’ available advertising inventory. All that, and Sexton is dedicated to mentoring as well. Her words of wisdom for a mid- day re-energizer? “A bottle of water and a walk in the sunshine,” she says. “OK, if it’s raining, then walk the steps.”
