Howe’s job is to help cable operators innovate through new technologies and products, including DOCSIS, advanced transport networks and IP gateways. In her role at Arris, she regularly consults with major operators throughout North America, helping to coordinate long-range business strategy. Her advice for juggling the workload? “I believe it is key to do the hardest thing first each day, and then the rest is easy,” she says. Howe’s also a big believer in technology: “I cannot live without my Blackberry and Outlook calendar reminders!”
