Martinez is a first-string player for ESPN. Last year he spearheaded the production of the 2016 Rio Olympics for ESPN networks across Latin America, and played a key role in the collaboration between the ESPN US and International teams to assure an integrated, diverse coverage of the event. His leadership and work in support of the 2016 Games earned ESPN Deportes a Sports Emmy for best overall music direction for “Los Capitanes: Olympic Suite.” Says Martinez, “The way people consume content has changed incredibly. As content creators we’re always challenging ourselves to make sure we’re making content available to fans where and how they want to consume it.”
