Rita Tuzon
Tuzon’s had a busy and successful year, spearheading legal challenges against DISH’s Hopper, Aereo and, more recently, blocking FilmOn X LLC from infringing on Fox’s copyrighted content. Those efforts haven’t stopped her from focusing on expanding digital initiatives and content opportunities for the future and mentoring others, especially young women interested in a law career. Not surprising for a problem solver like Tuzon, she finds puzzles and games relaxing. They’re “terrific mental floss; they take just enough of the active mind to allow everything else to kick into cruise control.”

My parents inspired my belief in the American Dream; Dolores Huerta inspires my commitment to social activism for just causes; and my children inspire me to continue to pursue both.
