Tuzon and her team lead Fox’s legal challenges related to the DISH Hopper, an ad-skipping feature, and recently shuttered streaming service Aereo. Added responsibility for business and legal affairs for Fox International Channels brought her team increased involvement with the expansion of Fox Sports’ international investments including advising on acquisitions in Latin America, the launch of Fox Sports Brazil and acquisitions in Asia. But it’s never all work and no play for this balanced exec. “If you’re not having fun it’s not worth it,” Tuzon says.

What’s been the biggest story in cable this year?

MVPD consolidation. The proposed Comcast-Time Warner and DirecTV-AT&T mergers are game changers for the industry.

How do you define a successful career?

For me, working my hardest to do my best while enjoying the ride. If you’re not having fun it’s not worth it.

Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?

I’ve said this before: there are no tricks. It is very hard work, but entirely worth it.

When not in the office, where are we most likely to find you?

At a soccer field, on a mountain or with a book and the luckiest rescue dog on earth.
