Tuzon was integrally involved in FNG’s biggest milestones this year, including overseeing its legal strategies such as its pending exec-poaching suit against
Netflix. She also led the negotiations for the company’s move to new platforms including Sling, PlayStation Vue, fuboTV, DirecTV Now and Hulu’s live streaming
service, and integrated FNG’s global network businesses in Asia, Latin America and Europe into her legal team. Along with this impressive workload,
she manages to find time to actively mentor not only her staff, but also young people from economically challenged backgrounds. “Progress” is a word she
uses to describe diversity in cable today; however, she adds, “The path to the top is still lightly traveled.”
