Turner has a sizable stable of Web-based properties – from CartoonNetworkonline.com to SI.com to CNN.com, which averaged 73 million unique monthly visitors last year – and Holt oversees them all. Partner sites including NBA.com, NCAA.com NASCAR.com and PGATour.com also fall under her purview, as does development of Turner’s broadband strategy, streaming content and VOD platforms. As well as her seemingly unending tech prowess, Holt is known among co-workers for her infectious positivity and support. It’s a winning combination, indeed.

What’’s your favorite digital toy and why? My Nook e-Reader totally rocks. I love to read, and this device allows me to carry a library in my handbag, buy books anytime, anywhere, and streams video seamlessly.

What digital strategy mistake must cable avoid at all costs? Cable can’t fight advancing technology and changing consumer preferences – we must embrace it. There’s never been a better time to innovate.

Would you rather own a flying car or a jetpack— and why? A flying car. It’s comfortable, climate controlled and safe from birds, and I could access my digital gadgets. I’d love to groove to my tunes in a flying car.
