Glashow has leveraged her innovative approach to distribution to bring Discovery’s content to new audiences—including the first-ever long-form content partnership between Discovery and Hulu. She has served on WICT’s National Board of Directors since 2014. “I’m excited to see more women leaders in the digital and technical areas of our business,” she says. “Technology is evolving the consumer experience.”


Where are the biggest growth areas for women in cable?

The growth areas for women are no different than for men, but I am excited to see more women leaders in the digital and technical areas of our business. Technology is evolving the consumer experience and our understanding of how it can help us better reach audiences and drive our business is invaluable.


What/who inspires you at work? What/who inspires you outside the office?

The passion and commitment of my team inspires me at work. So many women–colleagues and friends–who are balancing work with family and keeping their focus on what’s important when it comes to both are what inspire me outside the office.


Your favorite trick for unwinding? 

Reading stories to my kids… and a glass of wine.
