Go West, young woman. Only two years on the job, Raquel Williams has boosted distribution by more than 2 million subs across her territory in the Western half of the U.S. In 2014, Williams added Cox, Charter and all NCTC members in a nine-state territory to her already robust client list that includes Comcast and Time Warner Cable systems in the West. And she wasted no time expanding carriage with several key accounts, including TWC, Suddenlink, Grande Communications, Consolidated Communications, and Northland Communications across multiple markets, including Dallas, Los Angeles, Kansas City, and San Antonio. Hallmark Movies & Mysteries also experienced a 5% jump in 2014, boosting the net to nearly 56 million subscribers. With a territory spanning 134 different cable distributors representing more than 13 million basic video subscribers, we can’t wait to see what Williams accomplishes next.
