Freer is a designated hitter when it comes to rights acquisitions and maintaining team and league relationships on behalf of Fox Sports. He oversaw the negotiations that led to new long-term agreements with the NFL, MLB and the USGA, as well as with the Pac-12, Big 12, and Big East Conferences, and he played a key role in Fox’s acquisitions of the World Cup and the UFC. His job includes overseeing revenue, distribution and operations for all of Fox Networks Group, including Fox Broadcasting, FX Networks, Fox Sports, Fox International and National Geographic Channels. As 2016 continues, he’ll focus on leading the operations for the company’s consolidated advertising sales organization.
