Polavarapu, who’s been vital in the rollout of several Turner networks’ original TV Everywhere apps, was part of the team that won an Emmy for the creation of TBS’ Conan tablet app. He is currently working on next-gen TV initiatives for three networks, including leading a smart TV initiative for Turner. This past year, he led both technical development and product strategy of the Watch TBS and Watch TNT apps, the key component in an initiative that made TBS and TNT the first national entertainment networks in the industry to stream on-air content live across multiple platforms 24/7. And did we mention he happens to be fluent in six languages?
