In addition to his duties at NBCU Cable, Gomez helps inform the next generation of deal makers by lecturing at Berkeley Law School, where he teaches the semester-long class Entertainment Law: TV & Film. Additionally, Gomez is owed a round of applause from Comic Con attendees, as he successfully negotiated a deal with Warner Horizon for the upcoming Syfy series “Krypton.” And he’s an active member of the mentorship program at NBCUniversal. “As a mentor, one of the most effective strategies I’ve used is based on truly listening to your mentee,” says Gomez, “and then being committed to making them successful.”
