He’s relying on firsthand feedback to identify areas of improvement, aiming to visit every location in his territory at least once a year—on the idea that it will lead to better ideas. “If we allow our teams to share freely and encourage their participation in the process, we will foster diversity not only in the traditional sense, but in thought and ideology,” Biava says.
