Fili-Krushel’s efforts to transform the news group are working. In one year, msnbc.com surpassed 2017 traffic projections, MSNBC beat CNN’s Q2 ratings in key dayparts, and at 25 years young CNBC is the fastest-growing primetime cabler in the 25-54 demo. Fili-Krushel believes in the power of the strategic partnership. “With people consuming more news on more platforms than ever before, the big story is the push by content creators to meet the demand,” she says. “From strategic partnerships like NBCUniversal News Group’s work with Re/Code to investments in the social and video news start-up NowThis, we’re exploring new ways to deliver quality, engaging journalism.”

When not in the office, where are we most likely to find you?

One of my favorite activities outside of the office is cooking – especially from my vegetable garden – with family and friends, and attending the theater.
