After an uneven start in 2011, Winfrey’s OWN is fast coming into its own: As the network continues to expand into scripted programming, OWN has experienced double-digit growth in 2013, and the first quarter 2014 was its most watched in its history. Winfrey’s Harpo Studios now produces more than 130 hours of programming annually for OWN. Winfrey, who in June became Forbes’ Most Powerful TV Personality, also partnered with Starbucks this year for Teavana Oprah Chai, with all of her portion of the proceeds going to support youth education.
