Lederman has used her connections to help Lifetime attract high-profile auspices and talent as the net continues to expand its scripted slate and further evolves its brand into a more contemporary and fearless one. The first season of drama “Devious Maids” from Marc Cherry and Eva Longoria became Lifetime’s fastest-growing drama ever and a social media sensation. “I can’t stress how important it is to love your line of work—the benefits are immeasurable,” she says.

How do you define a successful career?

As one where you never lose passion for what you’re doing, and feel motivated to achieve your goals.  I can’t stress how important it is to love your line of work – the benefits are immeasurable.

Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?

Massages on the weekend.  For me, they are a great opportunity to recharge on so many levels.

When not in the office, where are we most likely to find you?

At home with my family – there’s nowhere else I’d rather spend my free time.
