Among the many hats she wears, Platt serves as point person for Spike’s most successful series “Lip Sync Battle.” She devised and executed the PR plan for the show that capitalized on its popularity online and in social media, unlocking millions of the genre’s fans and alerting them to the series and delivering a record number of impressions. She believes it’s important to treat others the way you’d want to be treated, noting, “You never know when you will cross paths with them again.”

 

What makes you most excited about this industry as you advance in your career?

As someone who has always had an interest in the entertainment industry and television, I am excited to work in an industry I am passionate about and watch it grow and change over the years which is an exciting challenge for me.

 

What is the best advice you’ve ever gotten?

Treat others how you want to be treated; you never know when you will cross paths with them again.

 

What is one habit that makes you most successful?

Dedication to my career and the projects I work on has helped me be most successful

 

What tech item or social platform could/couldn’t you live without?

Instagram is my favorite social platform

 

Who has been your biggest mentor and why?

My sister is my biggest mentor – she has always been motivated and driven and inspired me to do the same.

My dedication to my career, my positive outlook on life, my passion for my work.
