Nichole Earl
Affiliate Marketing Manager, Vubiquity
Super-serving Vubiquity’s affiliate and studio partners is job No. 1 for Earl, who manages more than 50 VOD collections annually, totaling more than 600 studio titles. This year she revamped her approach to increase exposure particularly for indie and kids content, which resulted in a 20 percent jump in affiliates joining the monthly Vubiquity Stunt Club. She also led Vubiquity’s partnership with Rotten Tomatoes. “One of the best habits I’ve developed is time management and prioritization,” she says.
What is one habit that makes you most successful?
One of the best habits I’ve developed is time management and prioritization. I particularly like to take the “early bird” approach and maximize my mornings by tackling the most challenging projects first. Whether that’s making client calls or brainstorming new ways to merchandise content, hitting my priorities first thing in the morning gives me a much needed sense of accomplishment to jumpstart the day.
What tech item or social platform could/couldn’t you live without?
I’d be lost without my iPhone 6 and I’m always up-to-date on my Instagram, Snapchat and Vine accounts.
Who has been your biggest mentor and why?
I’ve been fortunate to have several amazing mentors in my career but my biggest mentor is my mom. From owning her own business to succeeding in several different fields early in her career she has always led by example. Her ability to be a terrific wife and mother, while fulfilling her own career aspirations, has inspired me to challenge myself every day.
