For the first season of NASCAR on NBC Sports, NBCU’s content distribution group created fun local market activations like the “Race Track Rumble,” where four people at a time would race NBCSN-branded remote controlled stock cars on a track for a change to win prizes. Then there was the “Prize Wheel Game,” which let fans spin a wheel to win branded ear buds and koozies. And let we forget an actual bumper car ride, in partnership with Time Warner Cable.
