Nancy Dubuc
Dubuc’s outside-the-box thinking continues to pay off for the company. Last December, she leveraged the power of three brands—A&E, Lifetime and History—with the “Bonnie & Clyde” premiere, which resulted in an audience of 7.4 million, and the ripple effect continues. Why? Because Dubuc balances A+E Network’s diverse portfolio while also ensuring that each brand radiates its own strong presence. As she heads into 2015, she’s focused on growing the business both domestically and internationally. To stay balanced, Dubuc says she will “unplug from devices when possible” and “spend quality time with friends and family.”
How can cable do a better job at supporting the industry’s women?
By promoting more women to the executive ranks in our industry. Additionally, I believe that hard work and loyalty as well as sharing innovative ideas gets you the opportunity to be recognized by senior management and affords you opportunities to discuss your own development.
Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?
Unplug from devices when possible, spend quality time with friends and family.
When not in the office, where are we most likely to find you?
