MSG Varsity transitioned from a linear network to a 24/7 digital sports network in 2013—and it didn’t lose any of the bells and whistles in the process. It still provides live and on-demand coverage of high school sports and events in the NY, NJ, CT tri-state area. The Cablevision exclusive site migrated to a responsive site, allowing viewers to access the full experience on any device. New additions include the launch on in-game highlights—the same type of feature you’d expect to see while watching a MLB or NBA game. You may have even caught some of MSGVarsity.com’s work last March, with a 60-foot buzzer-beater by a New Rochelle player making ESPN’s “SportsCenter,” ABC’s “Good Morning America” and several other national telecasts.
