Not only has Revare worked on almost all of the 60+ deals, but she has led half of them. As a result, Layer3 TV has 250 linear networks and thousands of VOD assets. In addition, she is the company’s expert in devising new opportunities for future television formats such as TVE and 4K. In the past year, Revare has led a deal process with two of the largest programming groups based on total fees, executed the company’s first 4K content deal and helped organize the company’s premiums strategy. What sort of culture is important to you in the workplace?
I value a company culture that is a fair balance of challenging and supportive. We should all be pushing each other to do our best, while maintaining a fun and family-like atmosphere. At the end of day, we will all succeed together, and it’s important to remember that each day.
What is the most exciting thing about working in this industry?
With change comes opportunity. As an industry, we are certainly in a time of change. We need to constantly be asking ourselves what does the consumer want now and in the future. That’s an exciting problem to solve.
Who has been your biggest mentor and why?
My parents. As immigrants to this country, they’ve mastered what it means to fight for what you believe in while exuding love and kindness. They’ve taught me that change is something we should embrace and that complacency is not an option.
