Having joined Telemundo in January, Gil now oversees the company’s corporate communications, government relations and community relations efforts. Since then she’s worked to position NBCU Telemundo Enterprises as an innovative market leader centered on “Redefining Hispanic Media.” Her teams have been behind the successful launches of “El Senor de Los Cielos,” “Jenni Rivera: Mariposa del Barrio” and “Sin Senos No Hay Paraiso.” Up next is airing the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia and rolling out projects including a full-service white-label VR app. “Similar to English language, our viewers are immersing themselves in content through Snap, Twitter, Facebook in addition to watching it on television,” she says.
