That’s never easy in New York City’s hyper-competitive market that includes eccentric millionaires, international buyers of mystery and other strange characters buying and selling at the upper echelons of the market. This is a world in which open houses become lavish cocktail receptions—and stealing a competitor’s client isn’t a no-no. In fact, it’s expected. While the reality is heightened without a doubt, Bravo does an excellent job of showing this cutthroat world in an entertaining way, with characters who always seem larger than life on camera.
