Fuse had a big growth spurt—55% in primetime and 38% in total day—during the first two months of 2017 in its core A18-34 demo, and the youth network is on track for a strong finish to the year. Roggero has had a big hand in the network’s transformation over the last few years. He’s helped Fuse expand the availability of its content beyond the Fuse and FM TV networks, and onto OTT platforms through the launch of the Fuse TV app and new gaming app “Fluffy’s Food Adventures.” Not surprisingly, Roggero believes a diverse cable landscape must include independent voices. “The definition of diversity still implies creating content that will resonate with people of all cultural backgrounds, races, gender identities, ages and worldviews,” he says. “But what shouldn’t be lost is the vital place for independent thought and vision within this
definition.”
