Mike McCarley
Title: President, Golf Channel
Years in Cable: 5
Education: University of Arizona

Tiger Woods may not have had a great year in golf… but McCarley did. In 2014, the Golf Channel matched its highest-rated year—quite impressive considering that Woods only played in 30 percent of his expected rounds. This year, the Golf Channel will televise more live golf tournaments than all other networks combined. And in 2016, Golf Channel will be home to the biggest event in the network’s history with the sport returning to the Olympics after an absence of more than 100 years.
