Rice took the reins at TV One in July after the unexpected departure of network president Brad Siegel. An inaugural employee of the network, Rice most recently served as EVP of content distribution and marketing. In that role, she was responsible for approximately 50% of the network’s revenue and successfully negotiated all of its affiliate deals. Her outside-the-box thinking helps her forge win-win partnerships with distributors and marketing partners. She is also highly regarded among her staff for fostering a culture where independent thought is encouraged.
