Best business advice you’ve received?
Patience is your most powerful tool in a negotiation. Listen, pause, think then speak. The best solutions often arise from those rare moments of silence between sentences. Better to influence the outcome than control the conversation.
What is the biggest story in cable this year?
Two big stories in our industry both tie back to the innovation that our industry needs to grow in the coming years: (1) The consolidation among operators, who are looking to achieve scale economies to spread the investment in innovation across a larger subscriber footprint, and (2) the launch of OTT services, both by operators and content providers, which are bringing a range of new product options to consumers.
How do you define success?
Doing my best and giving my best to bring out the best in others and make a lasting impact for the good with the time I have here.
