While a commissioner at the FCC, Baker voted heartedly in favor of the Comcast’s purchase of NBCU. Just four months later, she left the Commission to help steer the merged entity through regulatory waters as one of the merged companies’ top government affairs execs. After serving in the public sector for so long, Baker enjoys being on the inside track of tech development. Her favorite part of coming to work is “to be part of such an innovative culture and watch new technologies—mobile, online, 4K, and more—change the way we all view content.”
