White has her finger on the pulse of compelling content—and the proof is in the strong succession of programming fl owing from Lifetime and LMN. “A mediocre show won’t cut it today. You have to be passionate and confident about everything you’re creating and putting out there,” she says. “In addition, you have to be strategic in regards to how you finance and monetize the content. “How do you partner with others to keep the quality at the level consumers now expect? It’s an essential balance that has always been important in our business, but at a much higher level today.” Upped to her current post earlier this year, since joining the company in 2011 White has overseen numerous co-productions including “A Deadly Adoption” and Lifetime’s highly rated 2016 movie “Girl in the Box.” She also was behind new scripted series “Mary Kills People” and supernatural drama pilot “Sea Change.”
