This year, Lowe closed the deal with Comcast to carry OWN, a milestone affiliate agreement. The good news is that despite the network’s struggles with ratings, things are finally looking up. Q3 saw double-digit growth for the third consecutive quarter this year. Her best kept secret to remaining focused on busy days? “I try to be present and in the moment at each meeting or activity rather than focus on what is coming up next,” she says. “For me, this approach helps keep things fresh and spontaneous. It’s not an exact science, but it helps to keep me centered.”
