Guthman has brokered more than 250 deals in her 15-year career in the television industry. At BET, she’s secured winners including “Martin,” “House of Payne” and “Meet The Browns.” Guthman also has bolstered sister network Centric, with strong movie titles including “What’s Love Got To Do With It,” “The Help,” and “Dead Presidents.” Her mission is to give women and African Americans an opportunity to see themselves in ways that television has often ignored.
