Vasgersian has been calling play-by-play for the MLB Network for seven years, and his experience and knowledge of the sport have only increased. He’s worked with the top sports broadcasters, including Fox Sports and NBC Sports, and it shows. As host of its daily morning shows, “MLB Central” and “Hot Stove,” Vasgersian reminds us regularly of his considerable skill in broadcasting, and in particular his ability to seamlessly switch between providing thoughtful and lively commentary on news of the day or interesting storylines, and calling big games on the national feed. But it’s not just about baseball. The versatile host is a sports lover all around, and has led game shows on blackjack, poker and even rock-paper-scissors.
