It has been a big year for Bond and Budill that included the renewal of several RSNs, including Comcast Philly and Mid-Atlantic, as well as increased distribution for new fully owned family member Sprout and Oxygen HD. Then there was the launch of every NBCU channel’s TV Everywhere offering. To date, NBCU has secured TVE deals with nearly all MVPD partners—something Budill was hyper focused on in his first full year with the company. Plus, 2013 wound down with this little thing called the Winter Olympics, and all the extra content affiliates got with it. TVE will remain a key initiative this year, but look for Bond to continue work to bring Ultra HD development to distributors.
