Mark Lopez
After arriving at Univision last year, Lopez masterminded changes to the company’s content and platform strategies, resulting in 88 percent growth in unique audiences, year-over-year, and making Univision Digital the top U.S. Hispanic multiplatform web property. Part of that success stems from the second screen Conecta App, launched to coincide with Univision’s popular music reality show, “La Banda.” Lopez also seeks to cultivate talent among “Billennials”—bilingual Millennials—as evidenced by his expansion of Univision Creators Network, and through his ongoing mentorship of students. “Over the last five years, I have sponsored and mentored students of the Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication at FSU. It is incredible and very rewarding to see these amazing students graduate to become future leaders of our advertising industry.”
The technology that will most benefit cable over the next year is…
‘Mobile access’ as users engage with ‘on the go’ apps increasing the perceived value for programmers.
My personal election campaign slogan would be…
Set challenging goals, don’t shortchange yourself.
