Perez-Brown recently oversaw the production of nuvoTV’s original series additions and negotiated program acquisitions deals with top studios. An adjunct professor at Columbia U and recipient of the Annual Achievement in Television Award from the National Hispanic Academy of Media Arts and Sciences, Perez-Brown is much-lauded within cable. She’s most proud of “creating shows for television that have influenced a generation of young people, through providing positive images of Latinos and African Americans and opening doors for many professionals of color.”
