Jenckes is responsible for all aspects of Comcast’s video business, on demand service, 3D, high-definition and digital video recorder services. In other words, he’s been really busy this year. 2012 started with a bang with Jenckes overseeing the distribution deal with Disney that brought XFinity customers access to more than 70 Disney networks and services across sports, news and entertainment. He then helmed the launch of XFinity Streampix, Comcast’s subscription streaming video service – unique in its flexibility in packaging and bundling – and has been working to add both to the content and device options for the service. Up next, the launch of the X1 cloud-based video programming service. Someone get this man some 5-hour energy!
