Silberwasser oversees the Telemundo broadcast network, including original Spanish-language content producer Telemundo Studios, and cable network NBC Universo. He’s charged with developing entertainment, sports and news growth strategy for the company, and the results are in: Telemundo continues to grow audience share and close in on its rival Univision, garner all-time ratings highs, and roll out innovative programming formats such as election coverage platform #YODECIDO 2016 and the popular telenovela revamp, “Super Series.” Having worked as EVP and chief content officer for Discovery Networks International prior to joining Telemundo, Silberwasser has acquired a deep understanding of the U.S. Hispanic and Latin American markets.
