Jones’ responsibilities include oversight of original programming, news, development and acquisitions, including series like “Let’s Stay Together,” “The Game” and “Sunday Best.” She also brokered the deal to bring “The Game” to BET, where it premiered on the network to a record 7.7 million viewers. Her team developed the new season and landed the original actors as well. But Jones isn’t stopping there. BET Networks recently unveiled an impressive development slate, featuring more originals, which it intends to develop as brand-defining programming.
