As most other media companies’ advertising commitments decreased sharply in 2014, Yaccarino’s dynamic approach and creative market strategy spurred NBCU to outperform its peers. The company increased its advertising volume by securing nearly $6 billion in Upfront commitments. But Yaccarino didn’t stop there. She also launched a unique, advanced data analytics capability that brings new targeting tools, such as consumer segmentation, to advertisers via the NBCU+ Powered by Comcast initiative.
