Energized by cable’s lightening pace, Talbot advises women entering the business to look at operations. “While operations may not seem like a natural first choice for many women, it is by far the best way to get started in this industry and learn it inside and out,” she says. “Also, I think a woman’s natural ability to multitask creates a natural fit.”
