Whether it’s upfront negotiations or running scatter negotiations for clients, Hovanes has it covered. And she knows not to allow herself to focus solely on traditional TV, integrating herself into the mobile video space. She says her parents are her biggest mentors. “They have always told me I could do anything that I set my mind to and they have supported me in any crazy idea I might have,” she says. “I’ve taken that advice very much to heart.”

What makes you most excited about this industry as you advance in your career?

First thought that this was a pretty tough question since this industry is changing rapidly and overnight. However, I realized that is what’s so exciting. I’m excited to see where we are in 5 years from now because the landscape could look so different.

What would be your ultimate dream job?

Who has been your biggest mentor and why?
