In the ever-changing world of media and entertainment, Harris plays a critical role helping NBCU business leaders navigate new challenges, including distribution of content around the globe. One of her most notable legal accomplishments to date came when NBCU and other media companies prevailed over Aereo in a landmark Supreme Court ruling that protected the company’s intellectual property from an infringing business model. Harris also leads NBCU’s global regulatory and legislative agenda and has notched a number of policy and regulatory victories. And she’s made major strides in furthering NBCU’s commitment to diversity, both by working with minority- and women-owned law firms and by encouraging the legal community to embrace diversity in hiring.
