It’s not the first time CableFAX has recognized Kevin Sullivan’s stellar web work—and it certainly may not be the last—but there’s a reason. In short, he continues to take YES Network’s online presence to new levels that give Yankees fans ever more reasons to not only watch the linear channel but increasingly spend time at its website. Consider the history. Since Kevin joined YES in 2008, unique visits are up 400%. In 2013 alone, he grew uniques by 15.6%. And it’s no wonder. Sullivan posted a whopping 650 original videos to the site last year, which helped push the net’s YouTube views up by 44% and push past 10K subscribers to its YouTube channel (more than any other regional sports net). In addition, sales under Sullivan have increased 9% YOY, not only because of higher site traffic but also because of his innovative use of social media to generate revenue, including several Twitter campaigns and the downloadable Ford Facebook Yankees schedule. He also forged a partnership with the Brooklyn Nets to produce Web-exclusive pre-game video segments. Honestly, we’re not sure when Sullivan sleeps. But this passionate web guru continues to impress.
