Kent W. Rees
Title: GM, Pivot TV
Years in Cable: 19
Education: BFA, NYU Tisch School of the Arts
Best Advice in 7 Words or Less: Don’t be a jerk.

Rees has only been on the job a short time, but he’s already making waves and helping to put Pivot on the map. With a growing slate that already included noteworthy shows such as “Hit Record on TV” and “Please Like Me,” Rees has taken this fledgling network to new heights with “Fortitude,” a critically acclaimed thriller set in a fictional arctic town where an ancient discovery leads residents to some dark places. Rees is of course no stranger to cultivating hits: He helped launch hit reality series “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” on ABC.
