Recently promoted to the SVP role, Grutko leads all marketing and communications for Comcast Spotlight in the MSO’s 80 markets. She also spearheaded the company’s “Eye-con” campaign, which depicted cable as a targeted medium for reaching consumers, and was integral to the intro of an iPad app about NCC’s 1+ platform. “When I got into this business, cable was a young and progressive industry that I knew was going to make major changes and be an exciting and challenging place to be,” she says. “I took a leap of faith in starting a totally new career and with the success of cable, am happy to say I’ve never looked back.”
