Holmes brings a two-fold approach to his position, in which he oversees a third of Cox’s sales. He not only puts a focus on the overall customer experience by emphasizing the importance of increased performance, but he also invests in his employees, which, in turn, encourages loyalty. He has said that when people believe in their hearts that you come to work every day to help them be successful, they will follow you. The former defensive back for Georgia Tech inspires high performance among his current “teammates” through personal connections, traveling to interact with them face-to face. Holmes says, “I encourage people to ask themselves, ‘Where is it you are trying to go?’”
