Kay Madati
Madati has a full plate, with responsibility for all aspects of digital, social and mobile strategy and oversight of operations, content creation, technology and product development across the suite of BET Networks’ digital platform. Both a Tanzanian and US resident, Madati is a founding board member of Digital Diversity Network, a non-profit trade association whose mission is to provide community, education and resources to foster diverse leadership and ownership in the digital media and hi-tech sectors. He tells us he’s also passionate about providing educational opportunities for youth in underserved communities, having co-founded two charter schools in Brooklyn and Atlanta.

Favorite charity organization you work with?
I’m a passionate advocate for providing educations opportunities for youth in underserved communities, having co-founded two charter schools in Brooklyn and Atlanta. My advisory board of the W.E.B. De Bois Institute for African American Research at Harvard University is doing timely and important work in today’s society.
