Vazirani manages Comcast Cable’s multi-million dollar media portfolio and handles all activities related to media planning and buying. She also manages strategic partnerships for broadcast media, cable, entertainment and digital media, and supervises media and traffic operations for Comcast’s National Marketing Interconnect. A strong supporter of WICT’s mentoring program, Vazirani also participates in Comcast’s Asian Pacific American Employee Resource Group Mentorship Program. “Diversity,” she says, “is about looking at the world from someone else’s eyes.”

Best business advice you’ve received?

Be respectful and accountable for your actions.  You have to appreciate and respect diversity of thought in order to achieve business success.

How do you define diversity?

Diversity is about looking at the world from someone else’s eyes.  It’s about being open to different points of view and appreciating the experiences we all have had in order to build collaborative partnerships and creative approaches to solving both personal and business challenges

How do you define success?

To me, success is not just about achieving your goals, acquiring wealth, or having a good career…it’s about the way you impact people’s lives and the legacy you leave behind to inspire them.
